Get Golden Tench & More by OSRS Aerial Fishing in Kebos Lowlands

Time: 12/27/18

At the Lake Molch in Old School Kebos Lowlands, Nicolas Louchart will teach you how to use birds like Cormorants to fish Golden Tench, Bluegilland, Mottled Eel and other fish in OSRS Aerial Fishing. With its release date coming closer and closer, it becomes necessary to learn to deal with this new Fishing method.

OSRS Aerial Fishing, a new fishing experience

You will meet a NPC named Nicolas Louchart on an island in the middle of Lake Molch. He’ll teach you to apply Aerial Fishing - using birds like Cormorants to catch fish and salamanders nearby - to fish.
First, make sure both of your hands are free to wield the bird. When you fish, you need to equip the bird on your arm. By clicking a fishing pool, the bird will fly off, then return with a catch. Though the fish move frequently around every 7-12 seconds, every time the bird is sent, it will be back with a catch. The birds will need King Worms (a starting bait can be collected on the island) or Fish chunks (made by cutting up the fish you catch) as rewards. And it will take one chuck for every 3-6 catches. However, once your inventory is full, it’ll swallow the catch, which leaves no experience for you.

The catches you can get with Aerial Fishing

You can catch Bluegill (requires 43 Fishing, 35 Hunter), Common tench (requires 56 Fishing, 51 Hunter), Mottled Eel (requires 73 Fishing, 68 Hunter), Greater Siren (require 91 Fishing, 87 Hunter) in Lake Molch. You can also fish Molch Pearls (with the success rate of 1/150), and exchange them for untradeable rewards including Fishing Rod (with 100 Molch pearls), Fly Fishing Rod (with 120 Molch pearls), Barbarian Fishing Rod (with 150 Molch pearls), Fish sack (with 1000 Molch pearls).
If you are lucky enough, you will fish up the extremely rare catch - Golden Tench, which is an untradeable cosmetic item with no stats.

Though the release of OSRS Kebos Lowlands, which includes Farming Guild, Aerial Fishing, etc., is delayed to Jan. 10, it will surely bring you brand new experiences with much more fun. And you might also need to buy OSRS gold from us and get ready for its release.
